Victim 2 Victor is currently
the only support group in North Carolina for those affected by burn injury trauma. Its sole purpose is the
education of those persons who have been affected by burn injury trauma. This group is for any of the following:
• burn victim
• spouse of burn victim
• relative of a burn victim
• friend(s) of burn victim
• caregivers
(including physicians, nurses, counselors, social workers, therapists)
• rescue personnel, firemen
• teachers,
classmates or others who have been traumatized by a burn event
It is the mission of Victim2Victor to provide
for residents of North Carolina, who have been affected by a burn trauma, the resources necessary to move from the status
of victim to that of victor. In addition to the burn survivor themselves,
others may be victims of a burn trauma also. This group can include family members of the survivor, friends, co-workers, rescue
personnel and care providers.
